Showing Google reviews on your own website, linking the site to the profile, and what video does for a listing.
There are three honest ways to show your Google reviews on your site: a link that opens them on Google, the map you can embed, or a block put there by a plugin or by hand. That block is for the visitor already on your page, not a way to get stars into Google’s own results.
Google lists “Add photos & videos” among its tips to improve your local ranking, so video is on its own list. It does not say a video moves a business up the map, and it says there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking.
Open your profile, select “Edit profile”, find the website field, enter the full address of your site including “http://” or “https://”, and select “Save”. Google reviews the change before it appears, usually within ten minutes, sometimes up to 30 days.
Google’s help pages describe no widget for showing your Google reviews on your own website; what they give you is a link to your reviews on Maps, an embeddable map, and two developer interfaces with attribution rules. In the other direction, your website can collect Google reviews by carrying the review link from “Read Reviews” and “Get more reviews”.
